Brigitte Neary, professor of sociology, recently had an article published in the ”Teaching Corner” of the current edition of the Southern Sociologist. It is based on her presentation at a recent Southern Sociological Society conference.The article details a teaching exercise, “Cultivating the Sociological Imagination and Standpoint Epistemology Using Feature Films” and can be found on pg. 26 of The Southern Sociologist, Volume 44, No. 2, Fall 2012.
