Carol Tesh was appointed Education Director for the South Carolina Health Information Management Association (SCHIMA) in 2011. This organization is a non-profit trade association serving nearly 1,200 professionals working in HIM, health care administration, education and information technology specialties in the Southeastern United States.  SCHIMA is the official American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Component State Association for the state of South Carolina.(www.ahima.org).
