Reid Toth announces a new contract with Carolina Academic Press for a book manuscript entitled “South Carolina’s Criminal Justice System.” The manuscript will be an examination of all aspects of the criminal justice system in South Carolina including law enforcement, courts, corrections, criminal statutes, prevalence of crime, victims, and offenders. It is anticipated to be a useful reference for criminal justice agencies throughout the state. It is also part of a series on state criminal justice systems published by Carolina Academic Press. Expected publication date is in the fall of 2013.  Reid Toth is an assistant professor of criminal justice in the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice and Women’s Studies.
