Timonov Presents at Mathematics Colloquium Series
Alex Timonov, associate professor of mathematics, presented the first results obtained during sabbatical to the Mathematics Colloquium Series at the University of Central Florida on September 27, 2012. His presentation, “Numerical Convergence of Bregman Iterates for the Hybrid Inverse Conductivity Problem,” details the analytical and computational features of the globally convergent iterative algorithm. It received a very good response from both the mathematics faculty and graduate students.
