Lizabeth Zack was awarded a grant from the American Sociological Association’s Fund for the Advancement of the Discipline. The grant provides ‘seed money’ for innovative research projects that challenge the discipline. She will use the funds to conduct research on environmental protest in Jordan during her sabbatical in the spring semester. Zack is an associate professor of sociology in the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice and Women’s Studies.
