Dr. Deborah Charnley
Nursing is a cumulative array of knowledge and skill and preparing nursing students today requires a cumulative effort that incorporates a variety of teaching tools, as well as innovative technology and methods. Recognizing the value of such an overarching effort drives Dr. Deborah Charnley in her role as program manager for the Joint Center for Nursing Research and Scholarship.
Her leadership, instincts and ability to bring together resources and people provides practical and advanced solutions that help the Mary Black School of Nursing at USC Upstate stay ahead of the curve. As a result, more – and better-prepared – nurses are graduating and meeting the health needs of Upstate South Carolina.
